Residents at Covenant House benefit from an all-inclusive fortnightly fee, which covers accommodation, meals, laundry services, room servicing, medical supervision, and access to communal facilities and activities. Additional charges may apply for personal expenses such as medication, medical services, shopping, and telephone usage. Importantly, there are no accommodation bonds, organisational fees, administration fees, or exit fees - ensuring transparency and peace of mind. A refundable deposit is required for a personal room key or separate private remotes.

What should I bring with me when moving to Covenant House?

When moving in, residents need only bring clothing and personal belongings, as well as personal documents such as identification, Medicare card, and healthcare information. Our fully furnished bedrooms include comfortable beds, wardrobes, and provided bed and bath linens. Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with cherished items to create a homely environment. For added comfort, residents may also choose to bring their own television.

All visitors are welcome at Covenant House between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm daily and are required to check in at the office upon arrival. During periods of pandemic or outbreaks, virtual visits via platforms such as Zoom or Facebook are encouraged to maintain connection while prioritising the wellbeing of residents and visitors.

Covenant House provides comprehensive healthcare support, facilitating access to general practitioners, specialists, and allied health professionals. We are located directly across the road from Bellbird Medical Centre for convenient GP consultations. In addition, we work closely with Eastern Health Services and Eastern Health Mental Health Outreach Clinics to ensure continuity of care and ongoing specialized support. Personalised care plans are developed to address each resident's medical requirements, while recreational activities and additional supports are available to promote overall wellbeing, independence, and quality of life.
